HouseBinder Privacy Policy

HouseBinder is a local-first iPhone app for homeowner recordkeeping. The app does not require an account and does not operate a backend service.

Information You Enter

You may enter home item names, rooms, categories, brands, model numbers, serial numbers, purchase prices, warranty dates, manual links, notes, maintenance logs, and selected photos. This information is stored locally in the app data on your device.

Photos

If you choose to add photos, HouseBinder uses the system photo picker so you can select receipt, warranty, serial plate, manual, or item photos. Selected photos are stored locally in the app data.

Data Collection

HouseBinder does not collect personal data, does not track you, does not sell data, does not use advertising SDKs, and does not send your records to a developer-operated server.

Sharing and Exports

PDF exports and shared files leave the app only when you choose to share them using iOS sharing features. You are responsible for where you send exported records.
